Role Description
We are looking for a Lead .NET Developer with strong ownership in backend/API development and hands-on experience working in modern DevOps and cloud-native environments. The role involves building scalable APIs, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and supporting production systems.
Must have technical skills:
- .NET Core API Development (Ownership level)
- Entity Framework Core (Ownership level)
- SQL Server Query writing, optimization, and performance tuning
- CI/CD Jenkins (Hands-on experience)
- Git with Azure DevOps / Bitbucket (Working exposure)
- API Security & Standards (Working exposure)
Nice to have skills
- Unit Testing (xUnit / MSTest / NUnit) - Experience writing unit tests for service and controller layers using Moq / NSubstitute
- Docker - Experience writing Dockerfiles for .NET applications and debugging containers locally
- Frontend Awareness - Worked with frontend teams consuming APIs, familiar with response structures, error codes, Postman & Swagger
- Monitoring & Logging - Exposure to structured logging (Serilog) and tools like Seq, ELK, or Azure Monitor
- Agile / Scrum - Experience in Scrum ceremonies and working with JIRA / Azure Boards
- OpenShift CLI / kubectl - Ability to check pod status, logs, and deployments, basic troubleshooting capability
Key responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain .NET Core REST APIs
- Implement clean, secure, and scalable backend solutions
- Work closely with frontend, DevOps, and QA teams
- Ensure CI/CD pipelines and deployment readiness
- Troubleshoot production issues and optimize performance
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, and release activities
