Job Title- Data Engineer
Location- Hyderabad
Roles And Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain end‑to‑end data pipelines using AWS services and Snowflake
- Build and optimize data models in Snowflake using dbt following best practices
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries for large datasets
- Implement ELT/ETL processes for ingesting data from multiple sources (databases, APIs, files, streaming)
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and reliability through validation and testing frameworks
- Collaborate with analytics, data science, and business teams to understand data requirements
- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines for performance and reliability issues
- Implement and maintain data documentation, lineage, and governance standards
- Apply best practices for security, access control, and cost optimization on AWS and Snowflake
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to data engineering standards
Qualifications & Required Skills
- Strong proficiency in SQL (advanced queries, joins, window functions, performance tuning)
- Hands‑on experience with AWS services, such as:
- S3, Lambda, Glue, Redshift (or similar)
- Step Functions, EC2, CloudWatch (good to have)
- Strong experience with Snowflake:
- Data modeling, clustering, performance optimization
- Practical experience using dbt:
- Models, snapshots, tests, macros, and documentation
- Good understanding of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling
- Experience with ETL/ELT tools or frameworks
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git)
- Strong problem‑solving and debugging skills
