What will I be doing - As a Lead, Digital Analytics, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards.
Commercial and Product Data Analytics:
Strategic Analysis:
- Channel Persona – Define and articulate the unique identity of each channel, guiding the business on how to position and leverage it effectively within the broader digital ecosystem
- Channel Mix Analysis - Provide insights that help the business identify opportunities to grow digital direct share
- Digital Ecosystem Analysis – Assess the incrementality of each channel and its cross-channel impact, enabling the business to understand how channels interact and contribute within Hilton's broader ecosystem.
- Campaign & Product Analysis
- Metrics & Methodology Design
- Data Integrity & Infrastructure
- Campaign analysis – Evaluates marketing and promotion campaigns through deep-dive methods (e.g., segment analysis, funnel analysis) and provides actionable recommendations.
- Product Analysis– Tracks product performance across its lifecycle, benchmarking against goals and identifying improvement opportunities.
- Success metrics definition – Collaborates with Commercial and Product teams to establish success metrics and analysis methodologies aligned with business objectives.
- Product impact estimation – Assesses potential product impact during planning to guide prioritization and resource allocation.
- Data validation and manipulation – Ensures data accuracy and organizes information from multiple sources for reliable reporting and analysis.
- Dashboard development – Builds and maintains dashboards to monitor business performance and enable data-driven decision making.
- Ad hoc analysis – Responds to Commercial and Product team requests with timely, accurate, and actionable data insights.
- Stakeholder Communication
- Produces high-quality, stakeholder-ready presentations that translate analytics insights into clear business impact.
Collaboration and Leadership:
- Analytics community collaboration – Connects Global topline performance with APAC Commercial and Product actions to ensure alignment and impact.
- Data-driven culture fostering – Promoting continuous data-driven excellence across the organization; explains statistical and data science concepts in clear, accessible language for non-technical partners.
- Best practice enablement – Distills best practices to strengthen team capabilities, improve efficiency, and raise performance standards. Stays current with industry trends to embed leading practices.
Data Tracking Management:
- Measurement strategy development – Designs and implements measurement strategies that align with business objectives and performance goals.
- Tracking Tech Specs documentation – Creates Customer Journey Analytics (CJA) tech specs and other analytics documents in line with established guidelines.
- Tracking monitoring – Implements proactive monitoring to safeguard tracking integrity and resolves issues when changes occur unexpectedly.
- Documentation management – Maintains a Confluence page to record tracking plans, launch dates, key decisions, and status updates for transparency and alignment.
- Quality assurance – Performs QA for newly built tracking and audits existing data points to ensure accuracy and data integrity.
- Training and guidance – Provide tracking guidance and delivers training to business counterparts to build organizational capability.
- Third-party audit – Reviews external tracking solutions and implementations to ensure compliance with Hilton standards.
What are we looking for:
A Lead, Digital Analytics serving Hilton Brands is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviors, skills, and values that follow:
- 6-9 years of experience in data analytics, product analytics, or data science roles, preferably in tech or hospitality.
- Strong command of Customer Journey Analytics, SQL, Power BI, Power Automate, and MicroStrategy; Python and Power App are nice to have.
- Skilled in developing clear, concise, and visually compelling PowerPoint presentations tailored for senior leadership audiences, with emphasis on strategic storytelling and data visualization.
- Exceptional communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to translate complex data into clear, compelling stories for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Analytical and forward-thinking mindset with the ability to detect, interpret, and validate unusual data trends and patterns.
- Strong business acumen with a proactive, creative approach to problem-solving and innovation.
- Excellent project, time, and stakeholder management skills to ensure timely and high-quality outcomes.
- Exposure to AI tools (e.g., Copilot, Github Copilot, etc.) for workflow acceleration or insight generation.
- Fluent English in terms of reading, writing, and speaking.
- Willingness to adjust schedule to accommodate Singapore and China business hours.
