TEKsystems is looking for an experienced and forward-thinking
Lead Platform & DevOps Engineer (m/f/d) to join our growing cloud engineering practice. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on platform leader who is passionate about cloud-native technologies, infrastructure automation, Kubernetes, and modern DevOps practices.
As the technical owner of our Azure-based cloud platforms, you will play a critical role in designing, automating, and evolving enterprise-scale infrastructure. You will help development teams accelerate delivery through Infrastructure as Code (IaC), GitOps methodologies, and AI-assisted engineering practices while driving the adoption of modern cloud-native solutions.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and maintain Azure infrastructure using Terraform and/or Pulumi.
- Implement GitOps deployments with Argo CD and Helm.
- Manage and support AKS environments, including networking, scaling, security, and monitoring.
- Lead platform upgrades, cloud modernization, and application containerization initiatives.
- Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and deployment issues.
- Create reusable platform standards, documentation, and runbooks.
- Mentor development teams and promote DevOps, automation, and AI-assisted engineering best practices.
Required Experience
- 5+ years in Platform Engineering, DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Infrastructure Support.
- Strong Experience with Microsoft Azure and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
- 2+ years of hands-on Experience with Terraform and/or Pulumi.
- Experience with Kubernetes, Argo CD, Helm, and GitOps.
- Knowledge of CI/CD, cloud security, monitoring, and automation.
Nice to Have
- Experience with GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Azure OpenAI, or other AI-powered engineering tools.
- Experience migrating VM-based applications to containerized platforms.
- Knowledge of Azure networking, API gateways, and cloud-native architecture.
