Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Lead DevOps Engineer Azure to design, build, and maintain scalable and secure cloud environments. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on automation, performance optimization, and driving DevOps best practices in a collaborative product-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain resilient Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) environments ensuring high availability and fault tolerance.
- Monitor and manage cloud infrastructure costs with optimization strategies to prevent budget overruns.
- Continuously monitor system health, performance, and availability to ensure platform reliability.
- Drive adoption and usage of Azure DevOps boards, code repositories, build and release pipelines.
- Implement DevSecOps practices to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines and ensure infrastructure compliance.
- Automate security checks, vulnerability scans, and enforce secure code delivery processes.
- Define governance and standards for Azure DevOps usage and adoption across teams.
- Evaluate and integrate new DevOps tools and capabilities to accelerate software delivery.
- Provide production support for Azure and on-premise hosted applications (VMs, Cloud Services, Storage Accounts, Traffic Manager, etc.).
- Design and implement system security, data assurance, and compliance best practices.
- Identify, evaluate, and implement Azure service offerings to enhance infrastructure performance.
Job Requirement:
- 7+ years of hands-on experience managing cloud infrastructure, preferably Microsoft Azure.
- Deep knowledge of Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) or similar Kubernetes offerings; migration experience to Kubernetes is preferred.
- Strong experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD, and automation tools such as Ansible, Jenkins, TeamCity, Octopus, VSTS, etc.
- Hands-on with Git, Maven, Ant, Nexus, Chef, and Puppet.
- Solid understanding of Azure provisioning (Dev/Test/Prod environments) using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) via Azure CLI and PowerShell.
- Deep expertise across Azure services: Virtual Machines, App Services, Storage Blobs, SQL Databases, Virtual Networks, Traffic Manager, Automation, Active Directory, CDN, and Cache.
- Ability to debug and optimize .NET applications as part of performance improvement processes.
- Strong communication skills able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Prior experience in Agile/DevOps environments with a focus on continuous improvement and delivery.
