Senior DevOps Engineer
Location: Bengaluru (Hybrid/Remote)
Experience: 7+ Years
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in CI/CD, Kubernetes, Docker, Cloud Infrastructure, Automation, and Production Support. This is a DevOps-focused role (80%) where the candidate will be responsible for deployment automation, platform engineering, infrastructure management, and application reliability.
The ideal candidate should also have working knowledge of Java applications and Microservices architecture to support deployments and troubleshoot application-related issues. This is not a Java Development role.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
- Manage and support Kubernetes and Docker-based environments.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management.
- Monitor application performance, availability, and reliability.
- Support deployment and maintenance of Java-based Microservices.
- Collaborate with development teams to streamline release processes.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and DevOps best practices.
- Troubleshoot production incidents and deployment issues.
- Manage cloud resources and services in Azure.
- Ensure security, scalability, and operational excellence of platforms.
Required Skills
- 7+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or SRE roles.
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- Kubernetes
- Docker
- Jenkins / Azure DevOps
- Git/GitHub/GitLab
- Terraform or Ansible
- CI/CD Pipeline Design
- Linux Administration
- Experience working with Azure Cloud services.
- Good understanding of Java applications and Microservices architecture.
- Experience deploying and supporting Java-based applications in production environments.
- Strong troubleshooting and automation skills.

Important Note
This is a DevOps Engineer position. Candidates whose primary experience is Java Application Development without significant DevOps, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Cloud, or Infrastructure experience will not be considered.
