We're hiring a Lead Developer who lives and breathes Power BI, brings sharp SQL and ETL instincts, and knows how to stitch it all together with Azure Data Factory. If you can make a boardroom dashboard land as cleanly as you architect a pipeline, this role was built for you.
▌ What You'll Do
Power BI & Reporting
→ Own the full Power BI delivery lifecycle — from data model design to client-ready reports
→ Build semantic models with advanced DAX measures, calculated tables, and row-level security (RLS)
→ Design and publish dashboards and paginated reports connected to the warehouse layer
→ Run client walkthroughs, present insights clearly, and iterate based on business feedback
→ Govern the Power BI workspace — manage datasets, refresh schedules, and report permissions
SQL & Data Transformation
→ Write clean, optimized SQL for reporting layers, data prep, and ad hoc analysis
→ Design and maintain transformation logic — views, stored procedures, and staging layers
→ Translate ambiguous business asks into clear data specs and query-ready models
→ Validate data accuracy across pipeline stages and BI outputs
ETL/ELT Engineering
→ Design and build end-to-end ETL/ELT workflows connecting source systems to the data warehouse
→ Apply integration patterns suited to batch, incremental, and event-based loads
→ Maintain transformation logic in Python and SQL with clean error handling and logging
Azure Data Factory
→ Build and maintain ADF pipelines — data flows, linked services, triggers, and integration runtimes
→ Orchestrate multi-step workflows across Azure services with monitoring and alerting
→ Troubleshoot pipeline failures and optimize for cost and performance
Client & Team Leadership
→ Be the technical face of delivery — from requirement discovery to final sign-off
→ Lead and mentor a team of 4–10 engineers with 1:1s, code reviews, and hands-on guidance
→ Set engineering standards, drive sprint delivery, and remove blockers fast.

→ Strong Power BI expertise — dashboards, DAX, semantic models, RLS, and paginated reports
→ 2+ years of SQL — complex queries, stored procedures, and transformation layer design
→ Solid ETL/ELT experience — pipeline design, data quality, and integration patterns
→ 2+ years with ADF — pipelines, data flows, scripting, and orchestration
→ Proven Client-handling Experience — Requirements, Presentations, And Relationship Management
→ Excellent communicator — equally sharp in a technical deep-dive or a boardroom conversation
Nice to Have
→ Power BI Embedded or Microsoft Fabric exposure
→ Synapse Analytics or data lakehouse architecture (Delta Lake, Iceberg)
→ MLOps tooling or Agile/Scrum certification
