Lead Developer – SAP ABAP

This role is responsible for leading SAP technical development initiatives across the organization's SAP landscape, including S/4HANA and integrated enterprise applications. The role involves solution design, development governance, technical architecture, performance optimization, integration development, and mentoring of the SAP technical team to ensure scalable, secure, and high-quality SAP solutions aligned with business objectives.

SAP Technical Development

Lead SAP technical development activities across SAP S/4HANA and related enterprise applications.

Design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality SAP technical solutions aligned with business requirements.

Develop and support RICEF objects including reports, interfaces, enhancements, conversions, forms, and workflows.

Ensure compliance with SAP development standards, coding guidelines, and best practices.

Drive technical optimization, code review, and performance improvement initiatives.

SAP S/4HANA & Advanced Development

Support SAP S/4HANA transformation initiatives, including custom code remediation and optimization.

Develop and optimize CDS Views, AMDPs, OData services, and HANA-based developments.

Collaborate on SAP Fiori/UI5 enablement and integration projects.

Work on APIs, middleware integrations, and enterprise connectivity solutions.

Project Delivery & Support

Participate in SAP implementation, upgrade, enhancement, and support projects.

Estimate development efforts, plan technical deliverables, and ensure timely execution.

Coordinate with functional teams to understand business requirements and provide technical solutions.

Troubleshoot and resolve complex SAP technical issues with minimal business disruption.

Governance & Quality Assurance

Conduct technical reviews and ensure adherence to architecture, security, and compliance standards.

Maintain technical documentation, development standards, and knowledge repositories.

Ensure transport management and release processes are followed effectively.

Support audit and compliance requirements related to SAP technical developments.
