Tenderlink is Experian's online marketplace for connecting businesses and opportunities across Australia and New Zealand. We have goals for what we can deliver for our customers, and we're looking for a Full Stack Engineer to help shape the future of Experian Tenderlink.

You'll join us at an important moment as we build the next-generation Tenderlink platform from the ground up. This is a true latest opportunity-designing, engineering and delivering entirely new product capabilities, not just iterating on legacy systems. You'll collaborate with customers, sales, product and engineering to shape future experience and help define how you and others do modern product development within our business.

What you'll need to bring to the role and Experian:

  • 7-10+ years of engineering experience in largescale environments.
  • Candidates design systems that are distributed, secure, and scalable on modern cloud architectures (AWS preferred).
  • Expertise leading UI/UX development in React/TypeScript environments.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft .NET ecosystem, API design, and integration patterns.
  • Experience setting and enforcing engineering standards (coding, architecture, security, testing, and observability).
  • Experience working with Product Design teams, translating design choices to code quickly.
  • To balance delivery velocity with longterm maintainability.
  • Experience designing solutions that work with RDBMS, event-driven components, and external/internal systems.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science or related discipline.
  • A commitment to security, privacy, and compliance standards (PCI/ISO/SOC).
  • Familiarity with AI governance and safe use of GenAI tools, Agentic AI implementations in enterprise environments.
  • A Willingness to participate in professional development activities to stay current on industry experience working in agile environments.

Work that matters - What you'll do

As a Technical Lead, you will shape the future of Tender Link's technology, architecture and engineering culture-guiding how we develop and operate modern, scalable and resilient systems. You will lead engineering practices, mentor developers and influence architectural direction, while remaining hands-on across the full stack, including .NET, Web APIs, React, data services and AWS. You will also advocate for the safe use of approved GenAI tools to enhance delivery velocity, code quality, and the developer experience.

Your important responsibilities will include:

  • Shape the TenderLink platform architecture to meet important quality attributes such as scalability, reliability, security and cost efficiency.
  • Review and guide system design endtoend - from highlevel architectural direction to detailed technical decisionmaking.
  • Champion modern engineering and architectural patterns including clean architecture, domaindriven design, eventdriven systems and cloudnative design.
  • Provide daytoday technical leadership to engineers across the stack, leading design discussions, code reviews and technical forums.
  • Mentor team members through pairing, structured feedback and capability uplift projects.
  • Ensure engineering excellence through secure coding, automated testing, CI/CD, observability, and operational readiness.
  • Balance product delivery priorities with longterm technical health, including refactoring, tech debt reduction and platform investment.
  • Collaborate with Product, UX, QA, Platform/Cloud and Security teams to lead agreement and allow highquality delivery outcomes.
  • Represent engineering in crossfunctional partner forums, contributing to roadmap feasibility and technical steering.
  • Foster a culture of, continuous improvement, and ownership.

More about you

  • You are an experienced engineer with deep architectural experience building secure, scalable, and resilient systems.
  • You have depth of experience with functional React. You also have knowledge of concepts such as best practice component design, state management, hooks, memorization, and rendering cycles. Additionally, you are familiar with the use of the Mantine component library for UI development.
  • You bring handson technical capability across .NET/.NET Core, Web API, C#, React, TypeScript and SQLbased data modelling.
  • You understand modern engineering practices, including OO principles, design patterns, clean architecture, and cloudnative design.
  • You have experience designing and integrating with relational databases (SQL Server, SQL MI, Postgres) and eventdriven components.
  • You are experienced in containerization (Docker, EKS, ECR) and infrastructureascode tools (Terraform/Bicep) along with Jenkins CI/CD pipeline implementations.
  • You lead Experience troubleshooting issues with users and influence, building trust across product, design, QA, security and platform teams.
  • You excel at simplifying complexity and communicating technical decisions to both technical and nontechnical audiences.
  • You promote engineering excellence.
  • You are collaborative, and grow in fastmoving environments where priorities evolve.
  • You use GenAI tools responsibly (e.g., GitHub Copilot, RAG/LLM capabilities) to enhance developer experience, delivery velocity and code quality without compromising security.
