Lead Design Engineer - Instrumentation

To augment our Engineering & Designing team in view of our proposed expansion and Globalization plans, we are looking for qualified and experienced professionals

Roles & Responsibilities :

• Preparation of instrument index, IO list, Instrument and JB location layout, Loop configuration diagrams, Logic diagrams etc
• Preparation of instrument data sheet
• Preparation of Technical specifications, Cable schedule and termination schedules
• Proficient in understanding P&IDs, symbols, legend, interlock etc.
• Familiar with instrument symbols, Legends & standards
• Preparation of Technical Specifications of Control systems (DCS, ESD, FGS), various field Instruments, control valves etc
• Familiar about selection of appropriate instrument for various application
• Familiar with various instrument sizing software shall be an added advantage
• Able to work on design requirement for selection of Automation system including system architecture. Design of DCS /PLC is desired
• Able to evaluate Vendor offer and document Review
• Familiar with various instrument sizing software
• Familiar with review & viewer of 3D model

Education : B.E. / B. Tech - Instrumentation & Control Engineering

Software Skills Required:

• Knowledge of Smart Plan Instrumentation software (Admin Module)
• Knowledge of Smart Plant Instrumentation (SPI In tools)

Skills:

• Knowledge of International codes and standards
• Thorough knowledge of various Instrument types in process Industies
• Exposure to Hazop and Safety Integrated Level (SIL) study workshops.
• Knowledge of developing logic diagram for automation implementation
• Exposure to Factory Acceptance Test / Site Acceptance Test of Plant Automation systems

Experience: 5-15 years major experience in the related field.
