About The Role
We are looking for a
Lead Data Scientist / Lead AI Engineer with
strong leadership experience and
deep expertise in AI/ML and Generative AI. This role requires a hands-on technical leader who has
built, deployed, and scaled AI/ML systems, including
Generative AI solutions, while also
leading teams, mentoring engineers, and driving architectural decisions.
The ideal candidate will have a
strong foundation in machine learning, deep learning, and statistical modeling, along with
real-world experience in Generative AI (LLMs, RAG, fine-tuning, prompt engineering, AI agents, etc.). Experience in
forecasting, predictive modeling, or advanced analytics should be reflected as part of broader AI/ML problem-solving initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of AI/ML and Generative AI solutions across business use cases.
- Architect and implement end-to-end AI systems, including data pipelines, model training, evaluation, deployment, and monitoring.
- Drive Generative AI initiatives, such as:
- LLM-based applications
- Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
- Prompt engineering and optimization
- Fine-tuning and model adaptation
- AI agents and orchestration workflows
- Apply machine learning and deep learning techniques to solve real-world problems, including forecasting, prediction, optimization, and intelligent automation.
- Lead and mentor a team of data scientists and AI engineers, conducting code reviews and ensuring best practices.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable AI solutions.
- Design and maintain ML pipelines for experimentation, deployment, retraining, and monitoring.
- Perform scenario analysis, forecasting, and predictive modeling as part of AI-driven decision support systems.
- Ensure AI solutions follow responsible AI principles, scalability, performance, and reliability standards.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI, ML, and Generative AI ecosystems.
Qualifications & Skills
- 58 years of experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, or AI Engineering, with at least 12 years in a technical leadership role.
- Strong foundation in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Statistical Modeling.
- Hands-on experience with Generative AI, including:
- LLMs (OpenAI, Anthropic, open-source models, etc.)
- Prompt engineering and optimization
- RAG pipelines and vector databases
- Fine-tuning and inference optimization
- Experience applying ML to forecasting, predictive analytics, or time-seriesrelated problems as part of broader AI systems.
- Proficiency in Python, with strong experience using libraries such as pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow.
- Experience with SQL and large-scale data processing.
- Strong understanding of ML system design, model evaluation, and performance metrics.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex AI concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven ability to lead teams, manage deliverables, and drive projects end-to-end.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice To Have)
- Experience deploying AI/ML systems on cloud platforms (AWS / GCP / Azure).
- Familiarity with MLOps practices (CI/CD, model monitoring, versioning).
- Experience with big data technologies such as Spark or Hadoop.
- Knowledge of vector databases (FAISS, Pinecone, Weaviate, etc.).
- Exposure to AI governance, security, and responsible AI frameworks.
