About the Role:
We are looking for a Lead Data Scientist with strong expertise in Artificial Intelligence and hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure to drive end-to-end data science initiatives. This role will lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable AI/ML solutions while working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver business impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and deployment of advanced machine learning and AI models for real-world business problems
- Design and implement scalable data science solutions using Azure cloud services
- Collaborate with data engineers, product teams, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Build, optimize, and maintain ML pipelines and model lifecycle management (MLOps)
- Mentor and guide junior data scientists and analysts
- Ensure best practices in model performance, monitoring, and governance
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI, ML, and cloud technologies
Required Skills & Experience:
- 8+ years of experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, or AI
- Strong proficiency in Python, R, or similar programming languages
- Hands-on experience with Azure services such as Azure Machine Learning, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Azure Synapse
- Experience in building and deploying ML models at scale
- Solid understanding of statistics, predictive modeling, NLP, or computer vision
- Experience with MLOps frameworks and tools
- Strong problem-solving and stakeholder management skills
Good to Have:
- Experience with Generative AI, LLMs, or Agentic AI systems
- Familiarity with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch
- Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Data Scientist Associate)
- Experience working in agile environments
