We are seeking a seasoned Lead Data Engineer to join our technical leadership team in Kochi. This is a high-priority, mission-critical role designed for a professional who excels at building scalable data architectures and leading engineering excellence from the front.
Note: This is a time-sensitive hire. We require a leader who can hit the ground running and integrate with our onsite team immediately.
Role Overview
- Total Experience: 8+ Years
- Relevant Experience: 4+ Years in Data Engineering
- Location:Onsite - Kochi
- Budget: Up to 25 LPA
- Notice Period:Immediate Joiners preferred (Maximum 30 days notice period)
Core Responsibilities
- Architecture & Implementation: Design and deploy high-performance data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows using Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Data Lake.
- Advanced Engineering: Develop robust data processing modules using Python and write highly optimized SQLfor complex data transformations.
- Technical Leadership: Lead the data engineering vertical, mentoring junior developers and establishing standards for code quality and data governance.
- Performance Tuning: Monitor and optimize cloud data environments to ensure maximum efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Onsite Collaboration: Work closely with onsite stakeholders to align data strategy with business objectives.
Technical Skills & Requirements
- Primary Stack: Deep expertise in SQL, Python, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Data Lake.
- Database Design: Proficiency in designing scalable data schemas and managing large-scale data warehouses.
- Problem Solving: Ability to troubleshoot complex data bottlenecks and provide high-level architectural solutions.
- Communication: Strong leadership and communication skills to manage both technical teams and business expectations.
