Lead Data Engineer

About the Company

We are looking for a Databricks Data Engineer who is strong on fundamentals and genuinely curious about where the platform is going. This role sits within our Data & AI Centre of Excellence as part of a dedicated Databricks practice -focused on building use cases, running POCs, and developing solutions that support and grow our Databricks partnership.

About the Role

This is not a pipeline maintenance role. The work is exploratory by nature -you will be expected to learn new Databricks capabilities as they land, build proof-of-concepts, and contribute to a growing solution catalogue across Manufacturing, Retail, and BFSI verticals.

Responsibilities

• If you are someone who reads release notes, experiments in sandboxes, and wants to understand the full Databricks stack rather than a narrow slice of it -this is the right environment.
• The expectation at this level is solid DE foundations combined with hands-on exposure to Databricks AI capabilities -specifically Mosaic AI and Genie.
• Production experience is not required for the AI layer; demonstrated curiosity and ability to build and present working POCs.
