Lead Data Engineer / Data Architect | Global Enterprise Opportunity

We are hiring Lead Data Engineers and Data Architects for enterprise-scale cloud data transformation, modernization, and architecture initiatives with leading global organizations.

The role is suited to experienced data professionals who can translate business and technical requirements into scalable data architectures, lead technical decisions, and guide the delivery of modern cloud data platforms.

What We Are Looking For

• 10 to 12+ years of experience across Data Engineering, Data Architecture, or modern data platforms.
• Proven experience designing enterprise-scale data architectures and solutions.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Python and SQL.
• Strong experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP and modern cloud data platforms.
• Experience with one or more of Databricks, Snowflake, Spark/PySpark, Azure Data Factory, Synapse, or equivalent technologies.
• Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, data lakes/lakehouses, and data integration.
• Experience leading technical design decisions and guiding engineering teams through implementation.
• Strong ability to work with architects, engineering teams, business stakeholders, and senior technology leaders.

What You Will Work On

• Define and implement scalable enterprise data architectures.
• Lead cloud data platform modernization and migration initiatives.
• Design data lake, lakehouse, warehouse, and integration architectures.
• Establish standards for data modeling, integration, scalability, security, and performance.
• Review technical designs and guide engineering teams through implementation.
• Identify opportunities for platform modernization, optimization, and standardization.
• Translate business requirements into practical technical solutions.
• Work with senior stakeholders to evaluate architectural options, trade-offs, and technology decisions.

Preferred Experience**

Data governance, MDM, Kafka, streaming architectures, Airflow, Terraform, CI/CD, Delta Lake, Microsoft Fabric, or enterprise data strategy.

Notice Period: Immediate to 30 days preferred.

Contract: Long-term contract opportunity with strong potential for extension.
