Job Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced Data Architect to lead the design and implementation of large-scale data engineering projects. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of data architecture principles, cloud technologies, and advanced data processing techniques. This role requires a hands-on approach, with the ability to write and debug complex SQL queries and architect sophisticated data pipelines. Strong communication skills and expertise in AWS are essential for success in this position.
Responsibilities:
- Architect, design, and implement large-scale data engineering projects.
- Write and debug complex SQL queries to support data analysis and reporting.
- Develop and maintain complex data pipelines to ensure efficient data flow and processing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior data engineers and architects.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in data architecture and engineering.
- Work on AI agent development and proof of concepts using tools such as ChatGPT, AWS Bedrock, or Claude.
Mandatory Skills:
- 15+ years of experience in data architecture and engineering.
- AWS (EC2, S3) is mandatory.
- Proficient in writing and debugging complex SQL queries.
- Experience in architecting complex data pipelines.
- Communication Skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders.
Preferred Skills:
- Working knowledge of AI agent development tools and IDEs, particularly Kiro.
- Experience with OCI (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure) is a plus.
- Familiarity with data governance and data quality best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications in data architecture or cloud technologies are preferred.
- Proven track record of successful project delivery in a fast-paced environment.
