The Lead Data Analyst - Business & Process will support the UK and EUG Gx business unit needs for business holistically across commercial, marketing and any other business needs.
The incumbent will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver dashboards, analytics, forecasting, and performance insights that enhance commercial effectiveness and operational efficiency and will report to Head of Commercial and Marketing and dotted line to leading managers of the strategy deployment process per country/business unit.
Responsibilities:
Data Analysis & Business Insights
- Analyse and interpret sales, prescription, market share, pricing, tender, and customer data
- Develop actionable insights to support commercial strategy, portfolio prioritisation, and growth initiatives.
- Perform ad-hoc and recurring analyses to support BU leadership decision-making
Commercial & Performance Reporting
- Design, develop, and maintain dashboards, scorecards, and management reports for sales performance, territory effectiveness, and marketing campaigns.
- Monitor KPIs across sales force effectiveness, market access performance, product launches, and lifecycle management.
- Support forecasting, budgeting, and rolling estimates for the UK business
Stakeholder Management
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, Market Access, Finance, Supply Chain, and Medical Affairs teams to understand data requirements.
- Translate business questions into analytical frameworks and communicate insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Support senior leadership with data-driven presentations and recommendations.
Data Governance & Compliance
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across systems and reports.
- Adhere to UK pharmaceutical compliance standards, including ABPI Code of Practice, GDPR, and internal policies.
- Support audits and data validation exercises as required.
Process Improvement & Automation
- Identify opportunities to streamline data processes, automate reporting, and improve data usability.
- Support implementation or enhancement of Analytics platforms
Educational qualification: Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Data Analytics, Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or related field
Postgraduate qualification or certification in analytics / data science is an advantage
Work experience: 3-6 years of relevant experience in data/business analysis within pharmaceuticals, life sciences, or healthcare (UK market exposure preferred).

- Strong proficiency in Excel, and data analysis techniques & tools.
- Experience working with pharma data sources (IQVIA, internal sales systems, ERP, CRM preferred)

Business & Functional Knowledge
- Solid understanding and /or willingness to learn UK pharmaceutical landscape, including NHS environment, pricing, reimbursement, and market access dynamics.
- Experience supporting commercial operations, sales analytics, portfolio or business planning in pharmaceuticals or FMCG
