Data Lead We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Databricks and its functionalities, but their primary role will be that of a project manager. As a Data Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all data-related projects within our organization.
Key Responsibilities: -
- Lead and manage data projects from start to finish, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project timelines
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify data needs and requirements for various projects
- Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, milestones, and deliverables
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders
- Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues that may impact project delivery
- Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and other team members to ensure data quality and accuracy
- Provide guidance and support to team members, including training and mentorship - Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in data management and analytics
- Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Qualifications: -
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in data management, with at least 2 years of experience in project management
- Strong understanding of Databricks and its functionalities - Project management certification (PMP) is a plus
- Excellent project management skills, including planning, organizing, and prioritizing tasks
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
