The role
You'll own security, compliance, and risk for the new hub, building it from the ground up — choosing the tools, setting the standards, and ensuring alignment with UK GDPR, India's DPDP Act, and ISO.
Experience
7–10 years in security architecture, infrastructure hardening, or greenfield setups.
Location:
Bangalore (hybrid - 2 days/week in office). Shift: UK-aligned, roughly 12:30 pm – 9:30 pm IST.
What You'll Do
- Select and design the core stack (SIEM, EDR/XDR, NGFW, PAM) after running proofs of concept.
- Set hardening baselines (CIS Benchmarks) and golden images, and architect zero-trust network segmentation.
- Own ISO 27001, the risk register, supplier risk, and the IAM framework.
- Write incident response playbooks, lead post-incident reviews, and manage MSSP/MDR vendors.
What We're Looking For
- A track record of building security architectures from scratch, not just maintaining them.
- Strong ISO, encryption, and data-protection knowledge.
- CISSP or CISM preferred, plus a degree in computer science, cyber security, or a related field.
