The Customer Engagement Platforms and Services function acts as Salesforce Center of Excellence (CoE) within Roche Digital Technology. These platforms and services are consumed by others to create business facing platforms, products and services. The goal is to empower product teams to develop business capabilities efficiently and compliantly, while reducing their cognitive load and allowing them to focus on value generation. Although development and operations remain decentralized, the Salesforce CoE can offer additional services, especially to smaller organizations that may lack certain specialized skills. The team is mandated to significantly reduce unintended customization and technical diversity by partnering with the business functions using the systems and driving re-use, simplification and standardization.
