Job Title: Lead - Creative Content
Location: Indiranagar Bangalore, India (Work from Office)
Reporting to: Head Revenue
Experience: Minimum 8-12 years of experience in creative content development and/or content
leadership with 3-5 years of team leadership and people management experience
Key Responsibilities:-
Creative Strategy & Vision
Develop and articulate a compelling creative content strategy aligned with 21K School's brand,mission, and business objectives
Establish a clear creative vision that differentiates 21K School's content in the educational marketplace
Optimize content for different formats and platforms (long-form, short-form, social, website, email, etc.)
Develop content series, campaigns, and thematic collections
Balance quality with production velocity and cost efficiency Team Leadership & Development
Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing creative team (writers, videographers, designers,editors, producers)
Plan seasonal content and timely cultural moments relevant to education
Manage content backlogs and production priorities
Video Content & Production
Develop a comprehensive video content strategy across formats (explainer videos, testimonials,tutorials, documentaries, vlogs, etc.)
Direct video production including concept development, scripting, shooting, and post-production
Oversee video editing, animation, graphics, and visual effects to achieve high production quality
Explore emerging video formats and platforms (YouTube Shorts, TikTok, Reels, etc.) Written &Educational Content
Develop high-quality written content including blog posts, case studies, whitepapers, guides, and articles
Ensure content is educationally sound, accurate, and aligned with pedagogical principles
Create content that addresses audience questions, pain points, and learning goals
Cross-Channel Content Distribution
Develop content distribution strategy to maximize reach and engagement across channels
Coordinate content launches and promotional campaigns
Ensure consistent messaging while optimizing for platform-specific best practices
Leverage content repurposing to maximize ROI on content production
Measure content performance across channels and optimize distribution
Coordinate with marketing and social teams on content promotion
Data Analytics & Performance Optimization
Establish content KPIs and metrics (views, engagement, shares, conversions, retention, etc.)
Generate comprehensive content performance dashboards and reports
Conduct content audits and analyze which content types drive the most business value
Track audience feedback and sentiment across content
Provide insights and recommendations for content optimization
Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication
Partner with product team to communicate product benefits and use cases through content
Collaborate with customer success and support teams to incorporate user stories and testimonials
Work with research and data teams to identify insights that should be shared with audiences
Coordinate with partnerships and business development on co-created content
Communicate content strategy and performance to executive leadership
Support sales team with case studies and customer stories
Share content insights with marketing and product teams to inform broader strategies
Represent 21K School's brand through content at conferences and thought
Creative Tools & Technology
Evaluate and implement creative technology and production tools
Stay current with emerging content creation platforms and tools
Manage creative asset library, digital asset management, and content organization
Establish brand asset guidelines and ensure accessibility of creative resources
Optimize workflows through technology integration and automation
Train and support team members on creative tools and best practices
Budget for creative tools, software, and production resources Required
Qualifications :-
Experience:-
Minimum 8-12 years of experience in creative content development and/or content
leadership
Minimum 3-5 years of team leadership and people management experience
Proven track record of developing and executing successful content strategies
Experience in EdTech, education, media, or content-driven organizations
Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality content across multiple formats (video,
written, visual, interactive)
Experience managing large-scale content production and editorial operations
Background in building and leading creative teams from the ground up
Portfolio demonstrating diverse, high-quality creative work
Skills & Competencies:-
Exceptional storytelling and narrative development abilities
Strong creative direction and artistic vision
Proficiency with video production, editing, and multimedia tools (Adobe Creative
Suite, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, etc.)
Expert-level writing and editing skills with ability to tailor voice for different audiences
Understanding of SEO, content marketing, and digital distribution
Collaborative leadership style with strong interpersonal skills
Education:-
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Media, Filmmaking, or related field
Advanced degree or specialized certifications in content strategy, creative direction, or media
production is a plus
Preferred Qualifications:-
Experience in EdTech or online education content development
Background in documentary filmmaking or narrative storytelling
Experience with international or multi-language content production
Knowledge of pedagogical principles and educational content best practices
Adaptability: Comfort with rapidly evolving content landscape and willingness to experiment with new formats

Content Production Volume: 15-30+ content pieces per month across all formats
Production Scope: Video, written, visual, interactive, audio, and multimedia content
