Inviting applications for the role of Lead Consultant - Teams & Share point Admin
We are seeking a highly skilled Teams & Share point Admin who can the design, development, and implementation of automation solutions across our organization. TheTeams & Share point Adminis responsible formanaging andoptimizingenterprise collaboration platforms, including Microsoft SharePoint (On-Prem & Online), Microsoft Teams, and associated governance and lifecycle tools such as Teams Manager,ShareGate, and HYCU.
This role will oversee configuration, governance, and lifecycle management to ensure secure, compliant, and efficient collaboration across digital and physical environments. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Microsoft 365 ecosystem administration, governance frameworks, and collaboration technology planning
SharePoint (On-Prem and Online) Administration
.Oversee configuration and lifecycle management of SharePoint communication, team, and hub sites.
.Define and enforce governance and permissions models aligned with organizational policies.
.Support site creation, archival, and retirement processes with proper documentation.
.Ensure configuration-only management customizations require CDK approval.
.Manage content lifecycle and compliance policiesin accordance withIT governance standards.
2. Microsoft Teams Administration
.Manage the configuration and lifecycle of Teams, channels, templates, and policies aligned withMicrosoftbest practices.
.Oversee integration with Microsoft 365 services such as Planner, OneNote, Stream, and SharePoint.
.Define and enforce standards for team creation, naming conventions, and archival processes.
.Administer compliance, retention, and data loss prevention (DLP) configurations.
.Maintain and monitor HYCU backup and restore processes for Teams data.
3. Teams Manager
.Configure and manage TeamsManagerprovisioning workflows and templates.
.Enforce naming conventions, lifecycle policies, andapprovalworkflows.
.Integrate Teams Manager with Active Directory and Microsoft Teams for automation and compliance.
4.ShareGateAdministration
.UtilizeShareGatefor migration, governance, and reporting activities across SharePoint and Teams.
.Plan and execute migrations, clean-ups, and restructuring efforts.
.Generate and analyze reports for usage analytics, orphaned sites, andpermissionsaudits.
.Ensure governance reporting is aligned with compliance and audit requirements.
6. Collaboration Spaces (Physical & Virtual)
.Oversee planning and support for collaboration spaces, including AV systems, conference tools, and booking systems.
.Coordinate with Facilities and IT for equipment lifecycle planning, refresh cycles, and budgeting.
.Ensure seamless integration of physical collaboration technologies with Microsoft 365 services.
.Maintain asset inventory and refresh timelines for all collaboration hardware.
7. Platform Governance & Standards
.Develop andmaintaingovernance policies for creation, usage, and lifecycle of Teams and SharePoint sites.
.Ensure all configurations adhere strictly to organizational andMicrosoftbest practices.
.Implement automation for lifecycle and governance enforcement where applicable.
.Review and document all customizations, extensions, and configuration changes for audit readiness.
8. Upgrades & Release Management
.Manage tool upgrades (Teams, SharePoint,ShareGate, Teams Manager, HYCU) in line with vendor release cycles.
.Perform pre-upgrade testing and post-upgrade validation in non-production environments.
.Ensure zero downtime during production upgrades.
.Communicate planned changes, timelines, andimpactsto stakeholders and end users.
9. License & Usage Management
.Oversee license management for M365, Teams Manager,ShareGate, and collaboration technologies.
.Monitor active and inactive users tooptimizelicenseutilization.
.Track usage andadoptionmetrics (e.g., active Teams, SharePoint site usage, meetingutilization).
.Recommend license adjustments and cost optimizations based on usage analytics.
