Inviting applications for the role of Lead Consultant - QA Playwright
In this Role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing robust automation frameworks using Playwright and TypeScript, following BDD principles with Cucumber. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality delivery and contribute to continuous improvement in automation practices.
Responsibilities
Design and develop automation test scripts using Playwright and TypeScript
Implement BDD frameworks using Cucumber
Collaborate with QA, development, and product teams to understand requirements and ensure test coverage
Maintain and enhance existing automation frameworks
Execute automated test cases and analyse results
Participate in code reviews and provide feedback
Troubleshoot and resolve issues in automation scripts
Ensure CI/CD integration of automation scripts
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor%27s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field
Hands-on experience with Playwright and TypeScript
Strong understanding of BDD concepts and experience with Cucumber
Experience in writing and maintaining automation frameworks
Good understanding of software testing lifecycle and QA methodologies
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure DevOps
Knowledge of other automation tools like Selenium or Cypress is a plus
Familiarity with Agile methodologies
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
