Inviting applications for the role of Lead Consultant - Mechanical Engineer (Additive)!

Mechanical Engineer (Additive) is primarily responsible to learns the practical application of engineering principal and will work with global cross-functional teams to deliver/maintain the electrical hardware design for medical device in Additive Domain. He/She need to lead the new technology introduction, problem investigation, platform definition, detail design, and verification/validation

Responsibilities

  • Create and optimize designs for components suitable for additive manufacturing processes, ensuring functionality and manufacturability.

  • Analyze and improve additive manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure high-quality output.

  • Evaluate and select appropriate materials for additive manufacturing applications, considering factors like strength, durability, and cost-effectiveness.

  • Implement quality control measures to ensure that manufactured components meet industry standards and specifications.

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including design, production, and quality assurance, to integrate additive manufacturing into existing workflows.

  • Stay updated on the latest advancements in additive manufacturing technologies and incorporate new techniques into the production process.

  • Maintain detailed records of design iterations, process changes, and quality assessments to support continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications we seek in you!

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field

  • Proven experience in additive manufacturing or related areas within mechanical engineering

  • Proficiency in CAD software, knowledge of various additive manufacturing technologies, and familiarity with material properties.

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

  • Strong analytical skills to identify issues and develop effective solutions

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey complex technical information clearly
