Inviting applications for the role of Lead Consultant, Java Kafka!
In this role, you will be a key contributor to the design, development, and deployment of scalable Java-based microservices and Kafka applications. You will work in a fast-paced Agile environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions using modern development practices and cloud-native technologies.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain scalableJava 8+backend services usingSpring BootandMicroservices architecture.
Design and implement Kafka-based solutions for real-time data streaming and processing.
Write and maintain unit and integration tests usingJUnitand related testing frameworks.
Ensure code quality through peer reviews and automated testing pipelines.
Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines usingGithub,CircleCI, andJenkins.
Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure smooth deployment and monitoring of services.
Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and demos.
Work closely with Product Owners, QA, and other developers to deliver features on time. Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
Hands-on of experience in Java application development and Maintenance
Strong hands-on experience with:
Java 8 or above versions
Spring Boot
Microservices
Kafka
Junit or Unit Testing or test-driven development
Experience working inAgile/Scrumenvironments.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
Excellent Interpersonal skills and effective communication skills to interact with Client
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
Strong hands-on experience with:
CI/CD tools: Git, Jenkins, CircleCI
Cloud platforms: GCP or similar
Angular, Rxjs, Ngrx
Experience with unit testing frameworks such as Jest or Jasmine.
Experience with containerization tools likeDockerand orchestration withKubernetes.
Familiarity with monitoring tools likePrometheus,Grafana, orStack driver.
