Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Technical Consultant with 9+ years of experience in software development, technical solutioning, and project delivery. The ideal candidate should have strong Python expertise along with proven experience in designing technical solutions, managing project delivery, and leading technical teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable and robust technical solutions using Python.
- Understand business and technical requirements and translate them into appropriate solution architectures.
- Lead technical solutioning activities, including technical design, estimation, technology selection, and implementation approach.
- Drive end-to-end project delivery, ensuring projects are delivered within agreed timelines, scope, and quality standards.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams.
- Manage and lead technical teams, including task allocation, performance monitoring, technical reviews, and team development.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, project managers, architects, and other technical teams.
- Review technical designs, code, and implementation approaches to ensure quality and best practices.
- Identify technical risks, dependencies, and challenges and provide effective solutions.
- Support project planning, effort estimation, resource planning, and delivery management.
- Ensure adherence to coding standards, development methodologies, security practices, and engineering best practices.
- Participate in client discussions and provide technical recommendations when required.
Required Skills & Experience
- 9+ years of overall experience in software development / technical consulting.
- Strong hands-on experience with Python.
- Proven experience in technical solutioning and solution design.
- Strong experience in end-to-end project delivery.
- Demonstrated experience in managing and leading technical teams.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and multiple stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to take ownership of technical deliverables and drive projects to completion.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working in a client-facing technical consulting role.
- Experience in designing scalable and enterprise-level applications.
- Exposure to cloud platforms, APIs, microservices, databases, and modern software architecture.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Strong technical leadership and decision-making capabilities.
