Responsibilities
Design, implement, and manage scalable healthcare infrastructure using Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
Build and maintain Kubernetes clusters to support containerized applications.
Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of patient-facing and clinical systems.
Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines for healthcare applications, enabling faster and safer releases.
Collaborate with engineering teams to streamline deployments of EHR, scheduling, billing, and telehealth services.
Implement blue/green and canary deployments to minimize downtime in mission-critical healthcare environments.
Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting systems (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK) for applications.
Proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in healthcare workloads.
Drive reliability engineering practices to ensure resilience and disaster recovery for patient data systems.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA, GDPR, and other healthcare regulations.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
Stay updated with emerging DevOps tools, cloud-native technologies, and healthcare-specific automation practices.
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications
DevOps engineering.
Strong expertise in Kubernetes (cluster setup, scaling, monitoring, troubleshooting).
Hands-on experience with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code.
Proficiency in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, etc.).
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
Knowledge of monitoring/logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
Solid understanding of networking, Linux systems, and containerization (Docker).
Familiarity with healthcare compliance standards (HIPAA, GDPR) is a strong plus.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
Prior experience in the healthcare technology (HealthTech) industry is a must. A deep understanding of the healthcare domain, including knowledge of EHR/EMR systems, patient data security, and HIPAA regulations is critical.
Bachelor%27s or Master%27s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience leading quality initiatives across multiple product lines or in a portfolio-based company.
Familiarity with interoperability standards like HL7 and FHIR.
