Inviting applications for the role of Lead Consultant - Data Migration LeaderWe are looking for a highly skilled Data Migration Leader responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing all activities related to data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) for Manufacturing Execution System (MES) implementation across one or more manufacturing sites. This includes aligning with ERP, PLM, and legacy MES teams to ensure complete, clean, and validated data is migrated into the new MES platform.Responsibilities
.Lead end-to-end data migration lifecycle for MES deployments, including strategy, mapping, transformation, validation, and reconciliation
.Work closely with data owners, functional leads, and IT teams to identify data sources (ERP, legacy MES, PLM, Excel, etc.)
.Define data migration templates, standards, and rules for key MES data objects such as:
.Materials, BOMs, Routings, Work Centers, Equipment, Tools, Quality Plans, Personnel, Shifts
.Develop and manage ETL scripts or tools for data extraction and transformation
.Ensure data cleansing, deduplication, and enrichment are completed before load
.Coordinate mock loads, test loads, and final production loads with MES and infrastructure teams
.Perform data validation and reconciliation post-migration with stakeholders and end users
.Maintain data migration issue logs, risks, and quality metrics
.Document lessons learned and contribute to data migration playbooks for future rolloutsQualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications
.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field
.Experience in data migration or enterprise system implementations (MES/ERP/PLM)
.Strong understanding of MES master data structures and dependencies
.Hands-on experience with ETL tools, SQL scripting, or custom data loaders
.Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP ECC/S4HANA, Oracle EBS) and MES platforms (e.g., Siemens Opcenter, Proficy, SAP ME)
.Strong stakeholder management, planning, and communication skills
.Detail-oriented with a strong focus on data accuracy and completeness
Preferred qualifications
.Experience in large-scale MES rollouts or multi-site manufacturing programs.
.Exposure to data migration in regulated environments.
.Knowledge of integration platforms.
.Experience with agile delivery or hybrid project methodologies.
