We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Specialist - Principal Consultant to design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure and solutions across public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in cloud architecture, automation, security, and best practices, along with the ability to lead client engagements, drive solution delivery, and mentor team members.

Responsibilities

• Monitor cloud environments (Azure & AWS) using tools like CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Datadog, Dynatrace, or similar.

• Lead the end-to-end design, implementation, and optimization of cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, or GCP platforms.

• Engage with stakeholders to assess current cloud infrastructure, define cloud adoption strategies, and architect secure, scalable, and cost-effective solutions.

• Drive infrastructure automation using Terraform, ARM, CloudFormation, or other IaC tools.

• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.

• Lead migration of on-prem workloads to the cloud using lift-and-shift or cloud-native approaches.

• Enforce cloud governance, compliance, and security controls including IAM, encryption, network security, logging, and monitoring.

• Collaborate with DevOps, Security, and Application teams to support modern deployment and release practices.

• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to junior cloud engineers and consultants.

• Troubleshoot complex issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement preventative solutions.

• Develop and maintain cloud architecture documents, standards, runbooks, and knowledge base articles.

• Stay current with emerging cloud technologies, trends, and certifications.

Qualifications we seek in you!

Minimum Qualifications / Skills

• Bachelor%27s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (certification preferred).

• Strong expertise in Terraform, CloudFormation, or equivalent IaC tools.

• Experience with containerization and orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes, EKS/AKS/GKE.

• Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell) and cloud automation.

• Deep understanding of cloud security best practices, identity/access management, and compliance (CIS, NIST, etc.).

• Experience in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines.

• Good understanding of networking concepts (VPC, subnets, VPN, load balancing, DNS).

• Familiarity with tools like Ansible, Packer, Vault, Prometheus/Grafana, CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, or Stackdriver.

• Strong client-facing, consulting, and communication skills.
