Job Description

We are looking for a strong talent to lead our Compensation and Benefits team. This role is pivotal and is responsible for designing, managing, and executing the organization's compensation and benefits strategy and programs, ensuring they are competitive, equitable, and compliant with legal and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure effective Compensation & Benefits framework in M1, including the design and review of competitive salary structures and compensation policies.
  • Monitor and analyze remuneration and related trends in key markets, and develop appropriate response strategies, including pay premiums for emerging skills.
  • Review C&B policies and practices in alignment with market and parent company.
  • Formulate policy documents and employee communications.
  • Manage and execute the annual appraisals and develop recommendations for the salary review/bonus exercise.
  • Design, review and refine Sales Incentive Plans as required. Ensure sales commission payout in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Responsible for balance score card, job evaluation system and C&B reporting.
  • Oversee the employee benefits programs, including plan design, budgeting, and ensure cost effectiveness. Working with benefits providers to ensure smooth administration, timely renewals, and positive employee experience.
  • Oversee the payroll team, ensuring compliance with legislative requirements.
  • Lead and coach the team to ensure a robust compensation and benefits operational structure, including mentoring and developing individual team members.
  • Partner other HR team members to support in Compensation and Benefits-related tasks and special projects as needed.
  • Support and advise our Joint Venture company in Compensation and Benefits matters.
  • Participate in M&A activities as required.

Requirements:

  • University degree or equivalent in the field of Human Resources, Business Administration or relevant field, with IHRP preferred.
  • Solid track record with a minimum of 10 years relevant experience, including at least 3 years in people management role.
  • Strong knowledge in local employment laws and regulations. Experience working with industrial union is an added advantage.
  • Strategic yet hands-on, has good critical thinking and data analytic skills.
  • Proven ability to collaborate and influence key stakeholders.
  • Possess high integrity and sensitivity.
  • Proven experience in leading HR initiatives and possess good project management and change management skills.
  • Proactive, resourceful, and has good network in the C&B community.
