Lead Commodities Research

Location: Ahmedabad/ Mumbai

Reporting to: Head- Equity Research

Key Responsibilities

Lead the Commodities Research function, providing strategic research coverage across commodities metals, energy & Agri.
Deliver medium- to long-term market outlooks and actionable hedging strategies for corporate, Institutional Investors, MFs, FIIs, & Family offices.
Develop forward-looking macro and micro commodity frameworks, integrating global economic trends, policy developments, and demandsupply analytics.
Analyze global and domestic demandsupply dynamics in metals and energy markets to generate high-conviction investment and hedging views.
Drive client engagement through structured research products, customized advisory, and regular market updates.
Publish research articles and thought leadership pieces in leading business publications.

Qualifications & Experience

10+ years of experience in commodities research, covering metals, energy, and agriculture.
Proven experience in delivering medium- to long-term commodity outlooks and hedging strategies for corporate and institutional clients.
Prior experience leading or independently managing a commodities research function.
Strong exposure to global and domestic demandsupply analysis and commodity derivatives.
Excellent research writing, presentation, and client engagement skills.
Experience publishing research or thought leadership in institutional or business platforms.
