Lead - Commercial and Controller (AIG)

Purpose:

To lead and manage commercial, financial, contractual, budgeting, costing, and compliance functions for AIG projects, ensuring financial discipline, safeguarding commercial interests, and enabling efficient project execution aligned with organizational objectives.

Area Of Responsibility:

1.Project evaluation and Financial Planning

• Development of financial models (IRR, NPV, ROI) for evaluation of AIG projects.

• Analyze project viability and investment returns

• Analyse setting up of the projects with own investment or rental/ lease / Build to suit option basis

• Preparation & monitoring of project budgets, Budget vs Actual, forecasting, stakeholder alignment

• Drive financial planning, costing, and profitability analysis across AIG projects.

2.Cost Control

• Ensure effective cost control by Monitor expenditure, variance analysis, cost optimization initiatives

3.Vendor & Contract Management

• Oversee contract structuring, evaluation, and execution in alignment with commercial objectives.

• Ensure adherence to contractual terms, milestone-based payments, reconciliation and claims management.

• Manage vendor agreements, negotiations, and financial risk exposure.

4.Cash Flow Management

• Develop and manage project-wise cash flow planning.

• Monitor fund utilization and coordinate with finance teams for disbursements.

5.Compliance Management

• Ensure adherence to corporate governance, financial policies, and SOPs.

• Ensure statutory, tax & audit compliance, maintain financial records, close audit actions

6.MIS & Reporting

• Drive timely preparation of MIS reports (Budget vs Actual, cost variance, dashboards).

• Provide actionable insights for corrective measures and performance improvement.

• Support leadership with financial analytics and forecasting.

Education:

CA / CMA / MBA Finance

Relevant Experience:

• Relevant Experience: 8–10 years

• Total Experience: 12–15 years
