Responsibilities:

· Architect and Develop Solutions: Design, develop, and implement end-to-end data solutions using Microsoft's Azure platform, with a keen focus on scalability, efficiency, and performance.

· Data Pipeline and Integration: Build and optimize complex data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Azure Databricks to process and integrate data from various sources.

· Serverless Computing: Develop and deploy serverless functions using Azure Functions to streamline data processing tasks and seamlessly integrate with other Azure services.

· API Management: Design and manage APIs using Azure API Management (APIM) to securely expose data and services to internal and external consumers.

· Database Management: Architect and manage scalable databases in Azure SQL Database and Azure Synapse Analytics to support data warehousing and analytics needs.

· Cloud Services Utilization: Leverage Azure cloud services, including Azure Blob Storage, Azure Data Lake, and Azure Cosmos DB, for data storage and processing.

· AI/ML Model Deployment: Collaborate with data scientists to deploy AI/ML models using Azure Machine Learning and integrate them within business processes.

· Security and Governance: Implement data security and governance measures using Azure Security Center and Azure Active Directory while ensuring compliance with best practices.

· Network Architecture: Design and manage network architectures to ensure secure and efficient data flow within Azure environments, incorporating services like Azure Virtual Network, Network Security Groups, and Azure VPN Gateway.

· Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor and improve system performance, ensuring reliability and scalability of data solutions.

· Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate data solutions with various applications and business systems.

· Problem Solving and Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex data-related issues, ensuring optimal operation and reliability of data solutions.

Qualifications:

· Experience: Proven experience (4-10yrs) as a Data Engineer or Solutions Architect, with a strong focus on the Azure platform.

· Technical Proficiency: Expertise in Azure services, including Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Databricks.

· Serverless and API Management: Experience with Azure Functions and Azure API Management for building and managing serverless functions and APIs.

· Programming Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Python, or Scala for data manipulation and processing.

· Knowledge: In-depth understanding of data architecture, data modeling, and data integration strategies.

· AI/ML Experience: Experience in deploying AI/ML models using Azure Machine Learning is advantageous.

· Security and Network Skills: Understanding of data security, governance, compliance best practices, and network architecture within cloud environments.

· Analytical Skills: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

· Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with technical and non-technical teams.

· Cloud Integration: Familiarity with other cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud) is beneficial but not mandatory.
