Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Lead CET Developer role based in the Pune Division. The Lead CET Developer will design, develop, and maintain CET (Configura/Configura Extension Technology) solutions that support HNI's product configuration, sales enablement, and customer experience. The role involves translating business and design requirements into robust CET extensions, managing configuration logic, and ensuring accurate product data and pricing within the CET environment. The individual will lead a small development team, review code and configurations, and provide technical guidance and best practices. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with product development, IT, and business stakeholders, troubleshooting and optimizing existing CET solutions, documenting technical specifications, and ensuring timely delivery of enhancements and new features.
Qualifications
- 6+ Years Strong experience with CM Language, including extension development, configuration rules, and product data management.
- Proficiency in relevant programming or scripting languages (e.g., .NET/C#, JavaScript) and software development practices such as version control, testing, and code review.
- Background in product configuration, furniture or manufacturing domain, or complex configurable products, with an understanding of pricing, BOM, and catalog structures.
- Experience leading technical projects or teams, including task planning, mentoring, and coordinating with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Ability to analyze business requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical partners.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
- Experience working in a global, collaborative environment and comfort operating in a member-owner, accountability-driven culture.
