PMO Japanese Bilingual Position - N2 certification
As a PMO Consultant you will be a key driver of business value and transformation. You will move beyond traditional project management to ensure every initiative is strategically aligned with enterprise objectives, delivering measurable outcomes. Core Experience
- A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field (e.g., CS/IT).
- 6+ years of experience in a modern PMO, or consulting role within a dynamic IT or business transformation environment.
- Demonstrated experience with a mix of project methodologies, including Agile, Scrum, and hybrid models.
- Prior work experience and domain knowledge in the insurance industry
- Language proficiency:
- English - A high degree of fluency is essential for all verbal and written communication
- Japanese - Minimum requirement of Japanese language proficiency at the JLPT (Japanese Language Proficiency Test) N2 level or higher
- Strategic & Technical Skills:
- Data Fluency: Strong proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Excel) to create compelling, insight-driven reports.
- Modern PM Tools: Expertise in Agile project management software (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps) with a proven ability to build dashboards that increase transparency and drive decisions.
- Value-Driven Mindset: Experience enabling teams by leveraging flow metrics, Objective Key Results (OKRs), and value-based KPIs.
- Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of budget, forecasting, and resource capacity management to inform strategic investment decisions.
- Technical Literacy: Solid understanding of modern technology landscapes, including CI/CD processes, release management strategies (e.g., A/B testing, Canary), and version control systems.
- Exceptional Communication: Ability to articulate complex information clearly and concisely, and tell a compelling story with data.
- Problem-Solving: Superior analytical and critical thinking skills to navigate ambiguity and solve complex challenges.
- Influence & Collaboration: Proven ability to act as a trusted advisor, building relationships and influencing effectively across all levels of an organization.
- Integrity: Exemplary judgment in handling sensitive and confidential information.
