Lead Business Analyst

Job Title: Business Analyst Lead

Location: Mumbai, India

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end business analysis activities including requirement elicitation, analysis, and solution definition.
• Gather, document, and manage business and functional requirements (BRD, FRD, User Stories, Acceptance Criteria).
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, architects, developers, and QA teams.
• Perform AS-IS/TO-BE analysis, process mapping (BPMN), gap analysis, and impact analysis.
• Support API integration initiatives and system design discussions.
• Manage product backlog, facilitate Agile ceremonies, and support sprint planning.
• Coordinate UAT planning, execution, defect management, and production readiness.
• Define and document GenAI/AI business use cases, workflows, and acceptance criteria.
• Drive digital transformation and process improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• 8 to 12 years of Business Analysis experience.
• Mandatory: Experience in the Insurance domain (Life or General Insurance).
• Mandatory: Hands-on exposure to Generative AI (GenAI), LLMs, Prompt Engineering, Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or similar AI solutions.
• Strong experience in requirement gathering, stakeholder management, BRD, FRD, User Stories, and UAT.
• Experience with BPMN, process modelling, AS-IS/TO-BE analysis, and API integrations.
• Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools like Jira and Confluence.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Preferred: Exposure to Enterprise Architecture, Value Stream Mapping, Snowflake/Databricks, or cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• CBAP, PMI-PBA, PSPO, or similar BA certifications are an advantage.
