Job Summary
As the Lead Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in driving business efficiency, process optimization, and customer satisfaction within the airline industry. This position requires a seasoned professional with a strong background in business analysis, a deep understanding of flight operations and flight safety, and a focus on enhancing operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Analysis:
- Conduct comprehensive analysis of existing business processes related to Flight Operations and Flight Safety
- Identify opportunities for improvement and efficiency gains through data-driven insights and stakeholder collaboration.
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies.
- Requirement Gathering and Documentation:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, IT, and customer service, to gather and document detailed business requirements.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation such as business process models, use cases, and functional specifications.
- Process Optimization:
- Lead initiatives to streamline and optimize Flight operations, with a focus on enhancing efficiency and reducing costs.
- Work closely with relevant stakeholders to implement process improvements and ensure seamless integration with existing systems.
- Data Analysis:
- Utilize data analytics tools to analyze operational and customer service data, identifying trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
- Provide data-driven insights to support decision-making processes and continuous improvement efforts.
- Project Management:
- Lead and oversee business analysis projects related to flight operations and flight safety.
- Collaborate with project managers, IT teams, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery within defined timelines and budget.
- Stakeholder Management:
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including flight operations teams, flight safety team, and technology partners, to understand their needs and concerns.
- Foster positive relationships and act as a liaison between business units.
- Quality Assurance:
- Develop and implement quality assurance processes to ensure that implemented solutions meet business requirements and adhere to industry standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst in the airline industry, with a focus on flight operations and flight safety.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Rich experience agile methodologies
- Project management experience is highly desirable.
