Lead Budget & Cost Monitoring

Responsibilities

• Lead annual budgets, periodic forecasts and reforecast cycles; maintain assumptions and version control.
• Track project budgets vs actuals; analyze variances and drive corrective actions with SBU/PMO owners.
• Run cost-to-complete governance, contingency drawdown tracking and early-warning indicators.
• Evaluate financial impact of change orders/claims; support approval packs with quantified impacts.
• Monitor opex and corporate spend; run cost optimization initiatives with measurable outcomes.
• Govern budget release and spend controls as per DOA; flag exceptions and ensure closure.
• Publish monthly dashboards (cost, forecast accuracy, risks, actions) for governance forums.
• Maintain audit-ready records for budgets, approvals, and variance action closures.
  
  

Qualifications

Essential-CA / CMA / MBA (Finance) / B.Com from a recognized Indian institution; qualification to match role seniority.

Desirable/Preferable-CA / CFA / MBA (Finance) with exposure to real estate, project finance or treasury systems.
