We are on the lookout for a Boomi Lead Engineer with deep hands-on expertise in Boomi and a strong track record of leading enterprise integration initiatives. This role requires both technical depth and leadership, with responsibility for designing scalable integration solutions, guiding engineering teams, and driving architectural decisions across the platform. The ideal candidate brings a strong balance of implementation experience, strategic thinking, and ownership of platform reliability, performance, and operational excellence.
The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Boomi AtomSphere, extensive experience designing enterprise-wide integration solutions, and a proven track record of leading complex integration initiatives across cloud and on-premises ecosystems. Experience supporting retail business processes and integrating ERP, OMS, WMS, PLM, POS, and eCommerce platforms is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities- Integration Architecture & Technical Leadership.
- Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of enterprise integration solutions using Boomi AtomSphere.
- Define integration standards, design patterns, reusable frameworks, and best practices across the organization.
- Evaluate architectural options, make technology recommendations, and drive design decisions based on scalability, maintainability, security, and performance considerations.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to developers and integration engineers.
- Conduct architecture reviews, code reviews, and technical design sessions.
- Collaborate with architects, product teams, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into robust technical solutions.
- Platform Ownership & Operational Excellence.
- Own the overall health, stability, performance, and roadmap of the Boomi integration platform.
- Establish monitoring, alerting, logging, and operational support processes for mission-critical integrations.
- Drive platform governance, deployment standards, release management, and environment strategy.
- Ensure integration solutions meet enterprise security, compliance, and reliability requirements.
- Lead root-cause analysis efforts and implement long-term improvements to enhance platform resilience and operational efficiency.
- Integration Development & Solution Delivery.
- Design, develop, deploy, and support complex integrations across applications, APIs, databases, and cloud platforms.
- Build scalable and reusable integration components, process flows, maps, business rules, and connectors.
- Implement and support real-time, batch, event-driven, and API-led integration patterns.
- Design robust error-handling, retry mechanisms, exception management, and recovery strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle in Agile environments.

- Support integration solutions across retail business domains, including:
- Order Management.
- Inventory Management.
- Pricing and Promotions.
- Product Catalog Management.
- Customer and Loyalty Platforms.

- Integrate enterprise platforms including ERP, OMS, WMS, POS, PLM, CRM, and eCommerce applications.
- Design and implement integrations using REST APIs, SOAP services, databases, messaging platforms, FTP/SFTP, and event-driven architectures.

- 10+ years of integration engineering experience with at least 7+ years of hands-on Boomi AtomSphere experience.
- Proven experience leading integration teams and driving enterprise-wide integration strategies.
- Strong architectural mindset with demonstrated experience making design decisions and evaluating technical tradeoffs.
- Experience owning integration platforms, operational processes, and production support models.

- Experience with event-driven and message-based architectures.

- Experience integrating Oracle ERP Cloud, Oracle EBS, SAP, or other enterprise platforms.
- Experience with Boomi Flow and Boomi API Management.

- Experience supporting large-scale retail, e-commerce, supply chain, or omnichannel environments.
- Experience implementing platform governance, DevOps, CI/CD, and integration lifecycle management practices.
