Job Description
We are looking for a Lead Bioengineer to run and scale our molecular biology experiments in our EpiC Lounge. You will coordinate with the product team to set research direction, plan experiments, build a strong molecular biology team, and ensure data translates into clear company decisions.
Who Are We Looking For
Experience: 2+ years in a management role at a biotech startup, in addition to molecular biology wet lab experience (either academic or commercial). Must-Haves:
- Strong grounding in molecular biology fundamentals and lab processes.
- Proven ability to design experiments and diagnose failures.
- Experience planning and prioritizing experimental work under constraints.
- Clear scientific communication skills (to both biologists and non-biologists).
- Experience leading or coordinating a biology team (early-stage startup experience preferred, but open to those transitioning from larger companies). Good-to-Have:
- Hiring and mentoring experience.
- Cross-functional experience (product, engineering, data, GTM).
- Exposure to grants, collaborations, or industry–academic partnerships.
