Principal Java Engineer - Full Stack Backend Engineer with DevOps experience
Shift Timings: 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM IST
Location: Remote (India)
We're seeking a seasoned Java Engineer who can own services end-to-end, from development through production infrastructure management.
Mandatory skills Include Springboot, PostGres, Kafka & Kubernetes
What You'll Do:
- Design and build scalable APIs and backend services using Java
- Implement security best practices including authentication, authorization, and secure coding
- Develop event-driven architectures using Kafka
- Design and optimize PostgreSQL databases
- Manage infrastructure as code using Terraform
- Deploy and orchestrate services with Kubernetes
What We're Looking For:
- 10+ years of Java development experience (Spring Boot preferred)
- Strong API development and RESTful design skills
- Hands-on experience with Kafka and PostgreSQL
- Proven ability with Terraform and Kubernetes
- Security-minded approach to development
- Experience with microservices architecture
- Ability to own projects from concept to production
Requirements:
- Must have overlapping working hours with PST (Pacific Standard Time)
- Strong communication skills in English
- Self-starter who can work independently
