About the Role:
Linnk Group is hiring Lead Engineer Backend (Node.js) to lead high-performing engineering teams responsible for building scalable, secure SaaS and AI-driven platforms. This is a hands-on leadership role at our Cochin Innovation Hub, combining technical strategy, architecture ownership, and people management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a backend team of 8–10+ engineers
- Define backend architecture using Node.js, Express/NestJS, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and microservices
- Collaborate with Product, QA, and DevOps for seamless delivery
- Oversee API design (REST/GraphQL), system performance, and scalability
- Drive hiring, performance reviews, and team development
Requirements:
- Master's degree in computer science or related field
- 10–15 years in backend development with 5+ years in engineering leadership
- Expertise in Node.js, TypeScript, system design, and distributed architecture
- Experience with Docker/Kubernetes and cloud-native microservices
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Kafka, WebSockets, or AI-related infrastructure (vector databases)
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and frontend alignment (React/React Native)
