Lead Azure Data Engineer

Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports

• Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics, and other strategies that optimize efficiency and quality
• Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems
• Work with business stakeholders, project managers, business analysts, and other IT teams to understand the business needs and their requirements
• Responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and managing distributed applications and systems on Azure Cloud platform
• Responsible for ETL development, data analysis, technical design, and testing
• You would be an individual contributor and/or oversee a small work effort and/or team
• Able to shift between priorities as needed throughout the workday

Requirements

• Good Programming skills in Scala/ Pyspark/ python
• Strong SQL/PLSQL knowledge, Datamodelling
• Gather and elicit requirements from business users and translate them into technical requirements
• Understand source systems and perform data profiling
• Document source table details and appropriate transformation rules that needs to be applied on the target tables/reports
• Work closely with the business, IT teams, project managers, Architects, developers, and Modelers
• Experience in Translating Business requirements into Code and deliver the required result
• Experience working with Azure Cloud Data Platform solutions
• Good communication skill and able to work on multiple projects
