About the Role:

We are looking for a highly skilled Lead AVD L3 Engineer with deep hands-on experience in Azure Virtual

Desktop (AVD), Nerdio, FSLogix, and Windows infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for

managing complex technical issues, mentoring junior engineers, and ensuring high availability and

performance of AVD environments. This role demands strong troubleshooting capabilities, automation skills,and collaboration with global teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead L3 support for Azure Virtual Desktop environments, resolving escalated issues and ensuring

system stability.

Manage and optimize dynamic host pools, golden image lifecycle, and software deployments using

Nerdio.

Administer FSLogix profile containers and troubleshoot profile-related issues.

Perform advanced troubleshooting across Windows Server components: AD, File Server, SQL Server.

Manage and secure endpoints using Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and Intune.

Collaborate with L1/L2 teams to ensure smooth escalation and resolution workflows.

Implement and maintain automation scripts (PowerShell or similar) for routine tasks anddeployments.

Participate in change management activities and ensure compliance with ITIL/ITSM processes.

Support and maintain third-party tools: Printerlogic, Mimecast, Zscaler.

Participate in on-call rotations and weekend maintenance windows for updates and emergencysupport.

Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge base documentation.

Required Skills & Experience:

Expert-level knowledge in Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) and Nerdio.

Strong experience with FSLogix, Intune, and Entra ID.

Proven Windows Server administration skills (AD, SQL, roles, file servers).

Experience with endpoint security and management tools.

Strong scripting and automation skills (PowerShell preferred).

Familiarity with ITIL/ITSM frameworks and change management.

Experience in SLA-driven environments and client-facing roles with US-based companies.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
