Lead Automation Test Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Automation Framework & Test Development

• Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test scripts and frameworks for web, mobile, and API testing.
• Enhance automation coverage and improve overall test efficiency.
• Execute automated and manual tests to validate functionality, performance, and reliability.
• Perform root cause analysis on failed test cases and report defects with detailed logs and documentation.

CI/CD & DevOps Integration

• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
• Collaborate with DevOps and development teams to ensure seamless build and release processes.
• Maintain version control using Git/GitHub.

Collaboration & Quality Strategy

• Work closely with developers, QA, and product teams to ensure high-quality releases.
• Contribute to test strategy, planning, estimation, and risk assessment activities.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and sprint activities.

Leadership & Mentorship

• Mentor junior QA engineers and promote automation best practices.
• Drive process improvements and quality initiatives across teams.
• Demonstrate ownership, accountability, and proactive problem-solving.
