Job Description

  • Accountable for growing Eurofins Food Assurance business and achieving assigned sales targets for Personal Care product certification services.
  • Successfully lead and deliver GMP+, IRCA, and other related certification trainings across India.
  • Oversee overall service delivery, ensuring audits and trainings are conducted as per audit criteria requirements.
  • Stay updated on skill development, regulatory, code qualification, and industrial requirements related to audits and certifications.
  • Maintain competence and qualifications in various standards such as BRCGS Food, Packaging, FSSC, ISO 22000, GMP+, and accredited trainings.
  • Keep abreast of local social, economic, and business environments to identify growth opportunities.
  • Ensure turnaround time (TAT) for audit reports meets Eurofins procedures.

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Mentor and support technical executives, auditors, and back-office staff.
  • Monitor and support operational activities to ensure smooth service delivery.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Achieve targeted revenue for Personal Care product certifications in India as defined by management.
  • Prepare and present sales quotations and proposals to prospective and existing clients.
  • Review contracts for new clients and maintain accurate customer and sales data in CRM.
  • Provide monthly sales reports to the Director, Food Assurance – India.
  • Develop and implement territory sales plans aligned with business goals.
  • Lead, monitor, and support sales activities and performance of Business Development Managers and Executives.
  • Identify and organize training for the sales team to enhance performance.
  • Support regional marketing activities and update management on competitors and market trends regularly.
  • Build and nurture relationships with clients, consultants, and industry associations.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and objectives.
  • Proactively identify at-risk customers and implement retention strategies.
  • Assist in payment collection and audit scheduling within the region.
  • Review customer service and sales management procedures and recommend improvements.
  • Travel regularly to various cities for client meetings.
  • Coordinate resources for subcontractor auditors and trainers.
  • Promote Eurofins programs through targeted strategic marketing initiatives.
  • Provide input on new program development and implementation (standards or 2nd party audits).
  • Ensure understanding and maintenance of impartiality in certification activities.
  • Demonstrate management expertise in decision-making and leadership.
  • Communicate effectively with all stakeholders including the Impartiality Committee and Directors.
  • Ensure timely updating of qualifications, training completion, and participation in calibration and witness audits.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in an appropriate discipline, preferably Food Science.
  • Lead auditor certification in BRCGS, FSMS/FSSC/QMS or equivalent.
  • ATP/Lead Tutor certifications in BRC, FSSC preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in operations, technical roles, or audits, preferably with a Certification Body (CB).
  • Minimum 4 years experience in the food industry, preferably in production or quality departments.
  • Strong product knowledge and market exposure.
