This position includes: An HCM Consultant is responsible for gathering data integration requirements and delivering solutions to clients that meet their data integration needs. This consultant will work with new public sector customers during an implementation and with existing customers when they encounter business events that may require changes to how data is exchanged. The Consultant will become familiar with the industry standard as well as customer data integration approaches. A critical component to the successful implementation of the Platform is ensuring on-time and high-quality data integrations.

The Consultant will be working with customers, (Human Resource & Benefits representatives as well as leaders), to understand their business and technical requirements. The Consultant will then work with Engineering teams to relay customer requirements, allowing the appropriate solutions to be developed. The Consultant will finally coordinate a testing effort with the customer and multiple internal departments to fully test the developed solution and transition them to a Production team. This position requires a self-motivated, customer-focused professional with strong follow-through. It also requires a strong technical aptitude to relay business requirements to technical software engineers.

Job Profile:

Work with customer's payroll vendor to determine outbound deduction file integration requirements.

Work with customer's HCM system to determine inbound demographic file integration requirements.

Extract files and ensure successful, on-time delivery to vendors.

Facilitate discovery sessions, standard integration & functionality overviews, and trainings & implementation project meetings.

Gather and understand a customer's integration needs and position the right integration solution based on those requirements.

Translate customer requirements and document accurate and concise requirements in an official requirements statement; refine the requirements document based on feedback from the customer and internal engineering reviews.

Formulate a testing plan for testing the resulting data integration; oversee and support the component testing & the user acceptance testing.

Triage and resolve issues identified in the testing effort.

Ensure a smooth transfer from the customer's existing file transmission process and data to the platform.

Seek customer and internal engineering sign-off to ensure a smooth transition of integrations to on-going production support teams.

Work with project manager to align delivery of data integrations with the overall milestones of an implementation project.

Adapt to a fast-paced work environment while managing multiple priorities.

Successfully handle a workload of 5-10 concurrent projects.

Collaborate with Product Management, Operations and Sales to ensure shared knowledge on behalf of Professional Services Consulting.

Knowledge & Experience: The ideal candidate has:

Bachelor's degree is required

3 + years of experience in a SaaS implementation environment

Experience with systems integration and field-level interface design.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Experience with file transmission to various vendors.

Background in business application consulting with client-facing experience.

Knowledge of payroll systems.

Knowledge of benefit plans / structures
