As a Lead Associate- Buying with 4.0-8.0 years of experience, you will play a key role in managing the buying process within the organization. Your primary responsibilities will involve overseeing the buying activities, preparing assortment plans, for the brand , coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring timely fulfillment of best seller styles and following up on day to day business objectives.

Roles And Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the buying team to achieve buying goals and brand objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand brand requirements and develop market place seller strategies.
  • Negotiate discounting and option plans with suppliers to secure favorable brand margins and launches
  • Monitor seller performance and address any issues or discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement cost reduction initiatives.
  • Analyze market trends and supplier capabilities to drive continuous improvement in the buying process.
  • Provide regular reports and updates on buying activities to senior management.
  • Maintain strong supplier relationships and foster a collaborative partnership for long-term success.

Actively handle seller onboarding and new seller additions to support future business scale and growth.

Plan active seller connect, constantly push for new seller additions, develop a future-ready growth plan, and manage brand risks. ensure thorough review of repeat and best-seller management TSRs, as well as zero TD activities. Lowering down and reacting to the market move on priority.

This role requires strong analytical skills, negotiation abilities, and a deep understanding of market trends and reacting to it quickly.

Overall, as a Lead Associate- Buying, your role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the buying function within the organization. Your experience and expertise will be instrumental in driving strategic purchasing decisions, optimizing costs, and enhancing supplier relationships to contribute to the overall success of the business.
