The position requires support in various Implementation in Financial System. The role also requires to Develop & manage Business Interruption Plan, Review applications/system functionality, ;manage and operate IT environment. The role requires knowledge of IT project management, managing applications used in Insurance Accounting, multiple admin systems and MS Access.Essential FunctionsThe primary responsibilities of this role include ;Accounting system maintenance:Update / maintain chart of accountsUpdate / maintain accounting master dataSupport system maintenance (update and communicate CAT codes, approve new accounts)Maintain data governance structure with formal data stewards ;Financial System Implementation SupportGood understanding of SAP Hana landscapeSupport Implementation of accounting systems (GL etc.)Support Implementation of Financial planning systemsSupport Implementation of reporting toolsSupport system enhancements (to align with business changes and to improve processes) ;Quality and Project ManagementQuality checks, Management sign off, PMOProduct related activities ;IT OperationsUnderstanding of Agile framework in software development life cycleShould be acquainted with at least one approach like Scrum, DDD etc.Prior hands on experience on UAT or QATReview applications/system functionalityDevelop & manage Business Interruption PlanManage and operate IT environmentManage IT financesManage periodic systems validation reviews ;Others:Be on the lookout for opportunities for improvement and develop new efficient proceduresImplementation of Six Sigma methodology in the businessMonitors all quality results, root cause analysis, identifies areas of improvement and implements steps required to improve processesConduct process level studies for productivity enhancement and improve process qualitySupport project teams identifying pain point using Lean tools such as Process Mapping, VSM, SIPOC ;Desired Skill setSound knowledge and hands on experience with Advanced Excel and MS Access.Ability to translate operational insights and opportunities into solutionsProblem solving skillsClient Relationship ManagementParticipate in Periodic Performance Assessments with Client and EXL LeadershipTeam Administration, Development PlanningPractical knowledge of project management including planning, monitoring, estimation, team management, and delivery management ;Work Experience & Other RequirementsPreferred Certified Green Belt with 7-10 years of experience (minimum 5 years in Quality) in finance and accounting processesKnowledge and expertise in project managementGood Computer navigation and MS Excel skillsComprehension skills should be able to read, interpret business documentsData analytics, application management and project support experience in insurance/reinsurance.Ability to analyze complex information, trends, etc. and work on resolving any data anomalies.Good communication and business writing skills.Good interpersonal skills and ability to coordinate and collaborate with multiple stakeholders.Ability to multi task and handle adverse situations in a professional and calm manner.Valid Passport is mandatory.
