Roles and Responsibilities for DQ Analyst
- Receive, review, and prioritize data quality exceptions reported periodically from various business units and stakeholders.
- Analyze root causes of data quality issues, assess the impact, and resolve exceptions in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to communicate findings, clarify requirements, and coordinate effective resolution of data quality exceptions.
- Document exception trends, resolutions, and maintain logs to support ongoing monitoring and process improvement.
- Perform data extraction, cleansing, and validation tasks to ensure the integrity and consistency of critical datasets.
- Prepare data quality reports and dashboards using Power BI or similar tools, highlighting exception status and trends for management review.
- Recommend and implement process enhancements to reduce recurring data quality issues and improve overall data accuracy.
Candidate Profile
- 38 years of experience in data quality management, exception handling, or data analysis, ideally within a centralized team environment.
- Demonstrated ability to identify, investigate, and resolve data quality exceptions and related issues.
- Hands-on experience with data quality tools such as Informatica Data Quality (IDQ), Collibra, IBM InfoSphere Information Governance Catalog, or Alation.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and statistical analysis capabilities.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Snowflake, and Power BI for data extraction, analysis, and reporting.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills for exception tracking and cross-team collaboration.
- Detail-oriented with proven success in driving process improvements and raising data quality standards.
- Solid understanding of Investment Fundamentals; exposure to Fixed Income is an added advantage.
